Welcome to Šalanda, a unique room tucked away in the lager cellars of the Pilsner Urquell Brewery. Only here can you enjoy unfiltered Pilsner Urquell fermenting in oak tuns and maturing in lagering barrels. The yeast from this beer has not been removed and gives it its unique taste! Our cellarmen will serve it to you in three-litre metal jugs for the entire duration of your event.
In the past, šalandas were used by brewery workers to rest, refresh and have fun. The first šalanda was built in the Burghers´ Brewery in 1844. At the beginning of the 19th century, šalandas were built for maltsters, boilermen, as well as coopers, and the last preserved mention of the šalandas is from 1946.
And now, you can use them to have fun! Enjoy three hours with your friends without a phone signal and with delicious Czech cuisine, including beer goulash, schnitzels, beef rib, pork knee, steak tartare, or a cold platter of Hrob smoked meat products or farm cheeses.

This room is suitable for up to 30 people. It is an ideal place for friendly get-togethers, bachelor/bachelorette parties, or celebrations of all kinds.
