Visitor Centre

Your journey through the Radegast Brewery begins at the modern Visitor Centre, where a short introductory film draws you into the world of one of the most iconic Czech beers.

You’ll get to know not only the distinctive bitterness of Radegast beer, but also the story behind its name — and why the pagan god Radegast perfectly embodies the strength and uncompromising character of this beer.

Cylindroconical Tanks

Take a look inside the area housing the cylindroconical tanks, where the main fermentation takes place over 8 to 10 days. Here, brewer’s yeast transforms the wort into young beer, which is then transferred to the lager cellar to mature.

For operational reasons, we cannot guarantee that all production areas will be in operation during the tour.

Jaromír Franzl Brewhouse

At the heart of the brewery lies the brewhouse, where the actual brewing process takes place. This space bears the name of the brewery’s founder, Jaromír Francl, and combines modern technology with a strong respect for tradition.

Watch as malt, hops, and water are mixed under the watchful eye of automated systems. One unique feature is a special tank with live trout — proof that the water used in brewing is exceptionally pure.

Lager Cellar

In the lager cellar, the young beer slowly matures at a consistently low temperature, developing its full, rounded flavor. During the tour, you will also visit a small exhibition showcasing the historical evolution of the beer fermentation process.

Radegast Beer Tasting

At the end of the tour, you will be rewarded with a tasting of freshly tapped beer served directly on the brewery premises – 330 ml of properly bitter Radegast beer and a Prazdroj special beer according to current availability (or a non-alcoholic Birell lager).

The tasting is available to visitors aged 18 and over.

Souvenir shop

The Radegast brewery tour culminates in our souvenir shop, where a wide selection of original souvenirs awaits you. You can purchase iconic beer glasses, stylish Radegast merchandise, or even take home beer straight from the brewery.
