SABMiller 10 Year Reunion – The Final Fling 2.0
Dear Friends,
We’ve had a fantastic response to the idea of getting together in Plzeň to mark the 10-year anniversary of the final days of SABMiller. There’s been tremendous enthusiasm around reconnecting with old friends and celebrating the time we spent together all those years ago.
It looks like around 150 of us will be attending, with people travelling from literally all four corners of the world, which is simply awesome.
Now it’s time for a few reminders, some additional information, and details regarding event payment and hotel bookings for those planning to stay overnight in Plzeň.
Where: Plzeň Brewery, U Prazdroje 64/7, Plzeň. Honestly, you can’t miss it!
When: Saturday, 26 September, from 5:00 PM. We have the venue until 2:00 AM, so there’s plenty of time to catch up.
What: Friends, fun, music, conversation, beer, and food – all included. The dress code is simply whatever you feel comfortable wearing.
The cost of the event is €90 per person. Partners are very welcome to join us. Please indicate your name and the number of attendees when making your payment to Plzeňský Prazdroj using the link below.
If you require hotel accommodation, please follow the link below for booking details, rates, and payment information. Accommodation is available at the Courtyard by Marriott Pilsen Hotel , and all room rates include breakfast (B&B). The booking link contains all available room options, rates, and payment details.
Both Single Room and Double Rooms are available for the dates :
• 1 night: 26–27 September 2026, or
• 2 nights: 25–27 September 2026.
The Double Room price indicated is per room for two people. In the Quantity field, please select the number of rooms you wish to book. If you would like hotel options different to those indicated, please contact Václav Kůrka.
Due to accommodation capacity, your final hotel confirmation will be sent to you by email. Your hotel will be in Plzeň, but it may be different from the Marriott Hotel.
Please be aware that there are a finite number of rooms available so allocation will necessarily be on a first come first served basis at time of booking confirmation.
Getting to Plzeň is easy. The brewery is approximately a 45-minute drive from Prague Airport. An Uber typically costs between CZK 2,000 and CZK 2,800 per car, one way, depending on the time of day, and can be booked upon arrival at the airport.
Alternatively, you can contact the inimitable Mr Binko on +420 724 617 010. Just mention the SABMiller Reunion and the rate will be CZK 2,650 one way per car (3–4 passengers) or CZK 4,000 one way per van (6–7 passengers).
You can also travel by train from Prague. Once you arrive in Plzeň, the brewery is only a five-minute walk from the station, and you can already spot the brewery chimney from the train.
