Where to dine out and drink beer in Pilsen
We can recommend the following restaurants which excel in offering traditional Czech cuisine and specialties that go well with beer, in particular with Pilsner Urquell and Gambrinus.
We recommend topping off your excursion with a trip to Na Spilce Restaurant, which offers traditional Czech cuisine and great beer from the Plzeňský Prazdroj brewery. The restaurant is located in the former fermentation cellar, called “spilky”, directly within the confines of the brewery and is the largest pub in Bohemia with 550 seats. In good weather you can sit in the restaurant garden in the courtyard of the brewery, which is open annually from April to September.

The Na Parkánu taproom has been furnished to look like a tavern in the 1930s, the golden age of taverns in Pilsen. The taproom adjoins the Brewery Museum and beer itself is its showcase. Only here and in the cellars of the brewery can you enjoy outstanding Pilsner Urquell beer in its unfiltered form. The outdoor terrace is open during the summer months.
