Brewery tours for school

Historická brána

Planning a trip with your students and you have chosen Plzeňský Prazdroj?

We should point out thatPlzeňský Prazdroj, as a responsible producer of alcoholic beverages, strives to minimize the negative effects of alcohol on minors, and therefore, effective 1 September 2009, our standard tour of the Pilsner Urquell and Gambrinus breweries is closed to minors, including the presentation of the beer production process and the brewery production area.

Groups with visitors over 18 years old

School groups with students over 18 years of age are still welcome to take the standard tour of the Pilsner Urquell brewery. More information about the Pilsner Urquell brewery tour>>

Groups with visitors under 18 years old

As of 1 September 2009, the standard brewery tour is, unfortunately, barred to groups with underage visitors.

Individual visitors under 18 may join the standard tour of the Pilsner Urquell and Gambrinus breweries (including a visit to the production spaces and presentation of the beer production process) only with the consent and under the constant supervision of a parent or other person over18 with full legal capacity. A maximum of 5 minors (under 18) may accompany the parent or adult person on the classic tour of the Pilsner Urquell brewery.

An alternative for underage visitors

For groups of students where one or more of the students is under 18 years old, we can offer an alternative tour: Brewing - a Successful Czech Industry.
