A VIP sightseeing tour “Meet the Pilsner Urquell legend” awaits your guests, which includes a guide and three-hour siesta in the unique “Šalanda” lounge, which is concealed in the labyrinth of the original brewery cellars
In the past Šalanda (buttery) served as a rest and relaxation space for brewery servants. Plzeňský Prazdroj decided to revive this tradition and built this appealing room in the historic cellars, where visitors can spend a delightful moment with unfiltered Pilsner Urquell beer produced today in wooden containers, in a small part of the cellars, the same way as during the time of first brewmaster Josef Groll – in oaken fermenting vats and large lager barrels. This unique variety of Pilsner Urquell beer can only be tasted during the tour of the brewery or here in Šalanda.
The program includes refreshments and an unlimited amount of unfiltered Pilsner Urquell beer directly from oak lager barrels.
In addition to enjoying a once-in-a-lifetime experience, your guests will receive a unique Pilsner Urquell glass as a gift and a commemorative certificate.
